Philosophy and Purpose

Our little busy bees are introduced to circle time with numbers, colors, letters, and days of the week. Then onto centers and learning class routines.

We at Footprints will provide a warm, loving atmosphere where there is time to talk and always listen.

The philosophy of Footprints is to provide a warm, loving, comfortable, and exciting environment. We are a Faith based school that encourages children and families to follow Christ through Bible stories and Prayer. Throughout the day, Footprints will allow the children to explore various developmental and age-appropriate materials selected to emphasize exploration and discovery. Footprints believes that children learn through the active manipulation of their environment and experiences. At the end of each day, we hope that we have helped them reach their highest potential.

Footprints provides service to children without regard to race, religion, national origin, ancestry, or political beliefs. Each child will benefit from our program, and we will make every effort to accommodate each child’s individual needs. We are committed to improving children and their families’ wellbeing through promoting culturally sensitive educational services and programs.

We hope to extend each child’s awareness of their natural, physical, and cultural environment through art, music, and dramatic play. We provide an environment where each child can work with others, identify with a social group and solve problems. We also offer a wide range of experiences that contribute to their physical fitness and muscular coordination.
